Email Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-17

This policy applies to HeyMarketer email marketing and forms part of our Terms of Service. Area2 (HK) Limited operates the Service. You are responsible for your audience, sender identity, content and applicable requirements in each recipient's jurisdiction.

Send marketing only to recipients who agreed to receive your messages. Purchased, rented, scraped or otherwise unsolicited lists are prohibited. Record truthful consent sources when adding/importing contacts. Do not re-import unsubscribed or complained addresses, create accounts or use other means to bypass suppression or sending limits.

Use a verified domain you control and truthful sender, company and contact details, including a valid postal address wherever applicable law requires it. Keep the mandatory footer and unsubscribe facilities. Misleading subjects, impersonation, phishing, malicious links and deceptive claims are prohibited. Have the necessary rights for images, personal data and likenesses. Review AI output; an automated fact check cannot establish every claim's accuracy or a recipient's consent.

Marketing emails include unsubscribe headers and a footer link. The linked confirmation page requires an explicit submission; one-click mailbox requests use POST. Links remain valid after detailed reports expire. Open tracking can be disabled per send; links still record clicks and support unsubscribe. Privacy proxies and scanners can generate activity, so engagement figures do not prove a person read the email. Respect applicable notice/permission requirements for tracking.

We enforce suppression, frequency, quota and warm-up limits. Bounce/complaint patterns, verification failures, provider restrictions or policy breaches can pause sends, an account or platform delivery. Pausing stops new dispatches; mail already accepted by a provider cannot be recalled. Restoring an account does not automatically resume paused sends or Autopilots. Complaint and unsubscribe suppression cannot be cleared by an unblock request. Provider acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery.

Respect recipient access, correction, deletion and unsubscribe requests. Use the Service's contact controls and keep only records justified by consent, suppression, security or legal needs. For abuse reports or help, contact [email protected]. Deleting a contact and unsubscribing are different processes; minimal suppression hashes may remain.
